Our Signature Service
Women's Embodied Acupuncture
Dr. Leah’s private practice is devoted exclusively to women’s health, with a particular focus on supporting women navigating recovery from substance use disorders, trauma, chronic illness, complex mental-emotional conditions, significant life transitions, psycho-spiritual concerns, and sexual health dysfunction. Drawing upon nearly a decade of experience in behavioral healthcare, she has developed specialized expertise in caring for women whose histories of nervous system dysregulation, chronic stress, and adverse life experiences have contributed to persistent and complex health concerns. Through her Embodied Acupuncture Method, Dr. Leah approaches healing as an active, relational process supporting constitutional restoration, emotional integration, and meaningful personal transformation.
Women’s Embodied Acupuncture is Dr. Leah’s signature integrative treatment experience for women seeking deep restoration, personal transformation, and a renewed relationship with themselves. These extended sessions bring together traditional East Asian medicine, somatic approaches, ritual practice, and energy work to support women navigating complex emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual changes.
Women’s Embodied Acupuncture creates a therapeutic environment in which women can reconnect with their bodies, process lived experience, cultivate deeper inner awareness, and develop new patterns that support long-term healing and greater personal freedom.
Our Treatment Approach
Embodied Acupuncture Method
Dr. Leah is the pioneer of the Embodied Acupuncture Method—an experiential model of acupuncture developed to facilitate emotional healing, trauma recovery, constitutional restoration, and the treatment of chronic conditions. Rather than relying on predetermined needle prescriptions, Embodied Acupuncture approaches treatment as a dynamic process that unfolds in real time through the therapeutic relationship, the patient's energetic activation, and their ongoing psychological and somatic responses.
Needle selection is guided one point at a time as energetic patterns emerge during treatment. Drawing upon the acupuncturist's knowledge of the body's energetic pathways, each intervention is informed by the patient's immediate emotional, physical, and energetic expression, allowing treatment to evolve responsively rather than according to a fixed protocol.
This approach recognizes moments of activation as opportunities for meaningful change, supporting the release and transformation of deeply held patterns while honoring the therapeutic relationship itself as an active component of healing.
